Radiant’s Centura 60 System provides an RGBW light graze effect on the columns of the Univeristy of Virginia Football Operations Center, in the USA.
For this project, the Centura System was configured as bespoke fixed-shape fixtures with custom mounting brackets which position the fixtures at a slight offset from the circumference of the columns. Two of these half-ring fixtures are joined on-site
to wrap around the top of each column. The custom mounting brackets also have space for the cables to run through the support arms ensuring that the wiring is entirely obscured from view. Because of its modular design, the Centura system can be configured into any custom shape with no limitations on scale.
The highly efficient colour-mix lenses produce a very narrow beam of light, ensuring the DMX controlled light-output grazes down the entire height of the columns.
The bracket metal work is finished with custom intumescent coating to ensure it complies with the regulations for the project.
