GNI Projects are known for using hearts in their light art installations - both the iconic heart shape and the heart rate monitor (ECG) have appeared frequently in their projects, always in their trademark red light. In this latest project we see both the heart shape and ECG monitor which are created from bent anodized aluminium rod. They are then lit using the DMX controlled narrow beam 3D LED Flex 40 system, and with matching red LED D100 spotlights. Using a custom DMX sequence the heart rate monitor effect is achieved as each module fires a spot of red light in quick succession onto the bent rods hanging above. When the viewers then link hands and touch two pressure points, the red LED D100 spotlights are activated which illuminates the iconic heart shape, made of a hanging 3D mesh of aluminium rods.
